Victoria Baltag


Victoria was born in Botosani, Romania. She has been designing, planning, directing and  producing video materials since 2009 when she started her MA in Film, History and Television.   Previous to that, she has been  performing as a theatre actress; during her bachelors in Sociology and Journalism she volunteered for organizing film festivals where she met and discussed with  film directors and producers.

She learned about the film  production and industry from directors as: Michel Hazanavicius (Oscar 2011), Abdellatif Kechiche (Palme d’Or 2013), Bertrand Tavernier (BAFTA 1990). During 2007-2014 she wrote film chronicles. After she finished her master in management, she opened her own production company. She created a strategy and started producing and directing films. In 2013 she won the popular prize award from   the LSE, with one of her  artistic documentaries. In 2014 she was selected for the  Sheffield International Documentary Film Festival videotheque.
